I suppose the answer to this may rely on what other colours will be in the room it will be situated in. Other than that I think the sofa has a simple enough aesthetic to allow for something bold and bright! Maybe try something strong and contrasting

I really like the idea of G plan round table. Hello again everyone! I've been playing around a bit & now posess quite a few Laura Ashley cushions and a couple of throws. I have lifted the rug for now too. I have bought a couple of harlequin cushions today as I loved them but not sure they work? (Ive only put one on for now...) Am also toying with the idea of moving the big sofa to where the smaller one is and vice versa but maybe having the big sofa along that wall will make it look like a waiting room? I will definitely be changing the curtains in the New Year. I'm tempted to take the existing ones down even now, but it would probably look too stark without them. (the last image wasnt meant to be there but I dont know how to delete it - any ideas please??)

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>You've got a lovely room. Love your fireplace, and that's where I would take inspiration from bringing in the burnished gold and coppers. I'd find some fabulous wallpaper to go on the wall behind the sofa as you walk in. I'd also lose the curtains altogether, you have shutters for privacy but paint the wall around the window the same as your chimney breast to create a frame. Changing your cushion covers too can really change a room. I'd think about painting your shelves in a darker shade and the remaining walls too to create a coordinated feel. Maybe pop your bits and bobs into baskets and get some funky accessories, dunelm is great for that. I've attached a few pics just so you can see what I mean. Think of it as wearing your favourite outfit but buying new shoes and jewellery...whole new look.
