Contemporary planters

Hi,
I'm looking for some nice contemporary planters for the front of my house.
I've exhausted all the expected websites and had no luck in finding any.
Can anyone recommend anywhere where I can get some from.

Thank you, I'll definitely get painting, I'm googling about painting upvc as we speak, seems a bit confusing and not sure whether I'd be better off getting a professional- if they even exist! Maybe I'll just head to homebase tomorrow for some primer and paint and give some DIY a go! We have a bay tree in a more contemporary pot where the planter was now, but I was also thinking of getting some big timber planters for below the two front windows as a way of adding both timber and structured greenery to the Tarmac and brick combo of the front! I wish I could paint the Tarmac, but it's all uneven too so would probably show that up, I'd love to just tear it all up and replace with gravel but I might wish the Tarmac back once I have a pram or high heels!

Hi Ben, I am inclined to agree with Design Bi-folds but it is tough when you are in a row like that as it is nice to take into account you surroundings too and not make it stick out like a sore thumb against its back drop.. although sometimes this is what people want. What do you want? Have you looked at the other properties? have any had their windows redone or pulled up the slabs to make way for a garden area at the front? What style do you have in side? If your budget is fairly small I would consider painting the cladding in a contemporary colour and some foliage in the front and especially up the side of the wall would make a great difference to the feel of the property. If it is larger then replacing windows and doors plus creating a small front garden area and if it is even larger then rendering the front with aluminium windows and door is definitely your best option. If anyone happens to read this thread, I have actually started to repaint the Mole's Breath with Downpipe, which I much prefer. The Moles Breath, in certain light, took on a brownish hue which I didn't like. It hasn't weathered that well, but this side of the house is quite exposed to the elements so we knew we would need to re do on a regular basis. Downpipe is more of a definite grey I think. Still unsure of what to do with the windows, if any designers out there would like to suggest a frame colour that would go well with F & B Downpipe? Husband painted one of the frames early summer with Zinsser primer and two topcoats, just white for now, and so far it is weathering well. We also need to change the exterior lights if anyone has any good suggestions? The door will be replaced too. Just haven't got around to it yet! I'm comfortable with interior design but the exterior is bugging me and our budget is limited for now.

The box is locked with a mortice key (5 lever) and a lock that is welded into place. Not sure you can see the key hole on this image - but it is there. It’s also welded to the ground and is made of structural steel - using intimidation tactics to dissuade the opportunist. The added security is that it’s actually disguised as a planter and so most people are surprised to find it provides nearly 4sqm of extra storage. If you are in London, come for a tour!
