Comments (6)Hi, you might want to look at Plain English by British Standard, DeVOL or Higham (this one should be the most cost effective) kitchens as alternatives. It also might be worth a while to check your local joineries to see what they have on offer and if they could deliver your design. Kitchen is often a long term investment, so might be worth upping your budget to get something that will last and that you will truly enjoy. Comments (57)Try http://www.handmadekitchens-direct.co.uk - our kitchen was installed when we bought the house but I know from some paperwork left by the previous owners that this is where it came from. From what I can gather the previous owner painted the kitchen herself too to save some money. It's a very good quality kitchen that has stood the test of time and 3 children! Comments (4)Hey thanks for the feedback - the extractor is above the hob yes - its funny - after I took that pic I did go and check myself! It looks OK in real life too :) Thanks for the idea, I was thinking the same too. Yes the alarm sensor is moving across the room at some point. OnePlan- are you also suggesting we should place everything to the right, or keep the left one as-is? That beam actually ended up lower than we were expecting as we found out the ceiling above is partially made of concrete and was resting on the old wall that was there!
