My kitchen is painted a duck egg blue too. I have cream units, oak worktops and a white ceramic sink. I agree with colourhappy to get the kitchen fitted, fit the worktop and sink then look at painting the walls, although your wall colour is soft and will probably go well. I’d go for a white worktop, with veining if you want some pattern, then go for a white sink. Black just wouldn’t go with the soft colours and they never look clean, especially if you have hard water. Although I love my duck egg walls I’m going to paint them F&B Oval Room Blue, which is a darker version. Just fancy a change! This is a corner of my kitchen.

I would class those cushions as more of a rust as opposed to orange. Could you swap them for a definite bright orange and also have curtains that have a large proportion of orange in? Walnut has undertones of orange so l think it would work well together.

Thank you all for helping as we were very stuck. So it seems that the Marley Dark Brown (4th from the left on the 1st picture) will work. It looks grey but according to the builder it is called brown🤷🏾‍♀️. We had thought the red old english marley 3rd from the left. Should I then have the sliding doors at the back of the house in white too? What colour front door? The back of the house will be rendered as will half of the front (first floor)? Thinking white render.

Hi Colette A useful tool which I use all the time in this industry is use the Farrow & Ball website, find the nearest colour which matches your selected colour and within that it will suggest complimentary colours. Some people prefer harmonic tones whereas other people like to see contrasting colours so it is really down to your own opinion. Another website which I use quite a lot is Little Greene.
