Decoration help with bare wall.
Comments (4)A few ideas. A sun or starburst mirror. You could also try a wallpaper, if you do that I'd go for something white to blend with the bannister, maybe Cole and sons wood wallpaper. I'm doing a bookcase wall on a rental ( to "disguise" the anaglypta going up the stairs!) but I don't think it would look right on yours as the stairs continue round. Or if it's your kind of thing maybe a stags head or even ŵall lettering. Or just simply a large portrait piece of art or 4 small prints arranged in a rectangle. I don't if there's a light fitting there but a stunning light would also look good....See MoreI need help with wall decor

Comments (13)There are literally an infinite amount of ways you can decorate this wall. But first of all, you need to create a plan, what you want to be on that wall. It is an open space and needs a cohesive idea throughout . take a picture of the whole wall, make a few copies and draw on it what and where do you like to see. you can visually separate different areas of the space and create zones. you can add panelling to the whole wall: you can fill the whole wall with pictures and paintings and creaate a gallery wall: you can add some shelving, some lighting, some pictures, decorative baskets: you can create a shelving wall: https://riverbespoke.com/gallery/ add decorative lighting: you can add unusual art, travel finding, children drawings, your art creatiions, objects that have sentimental values: create an unussual art display: gather all ideas that you like and draw or photoshop them on the whole wall and then install it when happy with the result...See MoreHELP: Empty space in Living Room
Comments (10)All sensible and helpful comments above. You don't say where you live, but this aesthetic makes me think of Mediterranea countries, or perhaps California/ Florida ? The tiled floor is lovely, and very practical, but the 'vibe' is more of a hotel lobby, so definitely a large rug, and bold wall hanging (suggested above), to create a sense of cosiness. And then - yes, live with it for at least 6 months, when further ideas will occur to you....See MoreMaria Laura D'orazio
