Hi Heather! Thanks for your comment, I suppose it's just down to personal perspective and budgets. We won't be able to put aside that amount just for the doors so will likely need to compromise on quality etc!

Good question. As an example in the trade a board we would have paid £12 for a year ago is now £36. Prices are escalating so quick it’s difficult to keep up to date. We must have received 5-6 prices increases within the last 9-12 months. We no longer simply quote our customers but ring through to the supplier first for the latest price and also availability. We had even rang a timber supplier for a price in the morning and when we went to order it in the afternoon it had increased again! Timber is in short supply as is MDF. Will it go back down in price? If suppliers can sell it at the current price I doubt it. I just wish we all knew.
