Comments (8)No problem - I'm totally with you on the mediterranean style! Of course, mixing and matching would work great in your space. Maybe consider dark tiles and modern furniture with some vibrant greenery to lift the space. If you feel like brightening up the area, you could go for colourful tiling or if you would like a softer feel - add some natural materials (wooden furniture for example). Lots of possibilities for sure. Hopefully the photos below will help with inspiration!...See MoreStone Tiles or Feature Rug? Let us know what you think!

We would recommend this collection for projects requiring a warm authentic grey stone throughout with an added feature in an adjoining room .....restoring the past with a contemporary twist and added personality!...See Moreok to have surfaces in stone porcelain tile, real marble in bathroom?
Comments (2)there is not a big difference between the worktop ( it is more shiny) and tiles for walls you have chosen. About the concrete effect, the finishing is matt , so it is not that much shiny but the advantage is not slippery, I think you have done good choice unless you choose your walls tiles matt also ( to me better choice) make sure your silicone is colorless otherwise it will stand out really bad when it is finished....See MoreStacked or offset / brick-bond / staggered 40cm x 80cm stone tiles?
Comments (6)Im sure the tilers prefer the brick layout purely to disguise any bad tiling that might not line up, ha ha . Harder to run a row straight across than to break it up ;0) BUT, also to use up offcuts more so there is less waste. We had a vertical run on the shower fitting wall to make it more of a feature wall and then had the rest of the tiles laid horizontal in a brick style. I guess if your grout is subtle, it shouldnt look too busy....See MorePamela Glazer Architect
