POLL: Pick a kitchen worktop material!
Comments (30)Generally it has to be Quartz, though we do love others, as sometimes they can give the right feel for the design you want. Different metals can look amazing and Quartz can't replicate these. We are just starting a project that has mainly Quartz but one side of the island will be copper . . . Can't wait to see the finished look...See MoreHow to choose a kitchen worktop: manmade or natural stone?
Comments (16)@NG sintered stone is like a porcelain and so the edge and the sink cut out will be plain and polished. In the same way any drainer grooves will be plain plus most sintered stone is so thin that the drainer grooves probably aren’t very deep or very effective. Speak to your kitchen designer to find the best option: Over mounted sink with drainer Flush fit sink with drainer Under mounted sink with drainer. Multi level sink with accessories that act as a drainer. Sink and drainer manufactured in the worktop material...See Morewhat colour kitchen worktop for all white kitchen?

We didn’t change the floor, but did everything necessary, I’m hoping it lasts well and our tenants look after it!...See Morekitchen worktop help
Comments (4)If you choose a worktop that is as pale as the units, then the colour has to be perfect to avoid a clash. This means a similar temperature (the units looks slightly warm, cream). A pale cool marble looking worktop woud make the units look dirty. If however you go for a worktop that is darker, this makes things slightly easier. The floor colour, or the palest bit of the floor colour such as Sonia says, a pale oak would work well. It's not a big space so repeating materials can help to unify things....See MoreGJ Dee
