How is the water reservoir filled?

Is the fill from the top or from the side? I would put thiese in a very tight space, and could not access the sides, if needed, but could water from the top.

Hi, the reservoir has two fill points, located on the top of either end.

Karen Baumgarten mentioned fluoride. That's a whole other beast of a topic. Working in the water industry, I'm keenly aware of this topic and am passionately against fluoridating tap water. Provide me clean, safe water at a reasonable price. Do no add medication of any kind thank you. If you are concerned about dental health, please support programs to educate the population about dental hygiene.

If you can't remember to water plants, you won't remember to fill the reservoir. Handy if you're going on holiday though. The one's I have are never used.

Normally i'd say box them in using ply and paint over. However, as they're already chased partially in to the wall, i might be inclined to put a very thin ply 3mm over the pipes and grip fill it to the gap between them, leave it to go off and then tile over the top. Use caulking to fill in the gap down the sides. You would have the raw edge of the tile on view, so I think you'd have to paint the edge white too, it would look better. It would give this type of effect:- There might even be enough room to put two strips of tile edging on there to negate the need for the painted edge and make it look pretty, I can't tell how wide the gap is. It certainly looks big enough, so i'd give it a go. Therefore:- Thin ply over the pipes afixed in to the hole by grip fill ( or similar ). Two strips of tile trim. Tile it and then put silicon down the edge of the ply ( which you would have to paint ) to make it look nice.

Holly - the boiling water couldn't be easier to use, you briskly move the chunky collar up and down twice (double push), which kind of unlocks it and then you just turn the collar to the right and the boiling water comes out. When the water running is boiling, the chunky collar is illuminated in red. If you have filtered water option, you hold the chunky ring down for a short time and then turn to the right, the collar illuminates blue. The two water functions (boiling/filtered and normal hot/cold) are controlled in totally different ways so, it's most unlikely you'd inadvertently get boiling when you weren't expecting it.
