Living room lighting
Comments (8)Hi, We suggest a central - dimmable pendant light - maybe the Kartell Fly Pendant http://www.williedugganlighting.com/shop/index.php?route=product/search&filter_name=kartell in a good colour? Remember that this central light will only assist with the basic light levels, you need to then add accent and task lighting such as tall reading lights etc. It's always best to think of overall light first, followed by task light, followed by mood lighting. Once you have good lighting you'll always wonder how you managed without! We've loads of lights in a wide range of budgets to suit and we're always happy to advise. Good luck with your plan! http://www.williedugganlighting.com...See MoreNeed help choosing living room lighting
Comments (2)You could have 6 or 8 spotlights around the edge and one centre light but the problem with a centre light is finding the perfect one! It also depends on if you house is modern then just go for the spotlight or if you pr house is old then go for one chandelier or a perfect light! Hope this helps x...See MoreLiving room layout, lighting and kids storage!
Comments (5)If you're looking at getting new sofas why not consider the storage ones either with drawers or a lift up seat? Your son may just need help with Opening and closing. I don't know how many toys there are but also consider a cabinet in the corner by the fire. I assume the doors are symmetrical in the room although it doesn't look like it in the pic so I'd add your chairs in either corner by the door, as there looks to be room away from the wall, and push the sofas and table further towards the fire. Re light, you could go contemporary or traditional. I'd get something with several arms and hang it about 8ft off the floor. I think wall lights would also be great but then there's the mess with the walls so depends on budget... Do also add table lamps on the cabinet and maybe a side table. It's a lovely room btw...See MoreLiving room wall lighting advice
Comments (1)I think pictures and room dimensions would be useful. Of course, you can't just have wall lights without chasing cables in to walls and re-plastering etc, if there are no cables already in situ. So you may need to consider the work needed to facilitate the wall lights. If you don't want the walls touched then maybe standard lamps, table lamps are better. It's a lot of work....See MoreAntonia H
