Renovating Design Dilemma Exteriors

What's the name of this style exterior door?

Help!! I'm looking for a front door to be placed as part of a new porch similar to this no idea what it's called?Also any thoughts on how it will look as part of a new porch for a semi detached 1930s house? Thinking to render the house and porch a grey color and a similar style white door but not sure if it will all work together! If anyone has anything similar for help visualise? Thanks guys

Looks like mock Tudor from the 1920s-1930s era. Some examples of mock Tudor houses below (click to enlarge). If you share some photos of the front of your property then some cleverer people than myself might be able to do wonders with photoshopping. Personally I’d paint the front door a bold colour to make it stand out.

I think the black is too harsh if you change the door, which i am sure you appreciate. I would go for white, if you can keep up to it; it works with all the window frames or a paint colour close to the finished door colour. See how these strike you....

We built an extension on our last house (3 storey 1850's victorian town house). Most of the new back wall was a bifolding sliding oak door. We were happy with them and they looked good but we rarely had them open all the way. For this reason we have decided not to have them again in our new house. This time we are opting for 3 sets of french doors similar to the house in the picture above. There are some advantages over the folding sliding doors. It allows the wall space to be used in between each set of doors. It looks nicer in my opinion and you could curtain the 3 sets of doors if you wish. There was no point putting curtains on a folding sliding door because you would end up with a whole wall of fabric which wouldn't look great so we lost our privacy. By the way our new house is a ugly 1955 build. We are trying to make it look traditional with an exterior makeover.

I'm with Carolina. The traditional door. The modern door seems to have no relation to the your house's style whatsoever, looks out of place and doesn't add anything other than mismatch. But hey, it's YOUR house ... :)

Thank you for the feedback! Here more pictures to get a better idea :) I talked with an architect that advised me that changing the style is unlikely to be approved by the council if the house connected to a row of similar houses. In our case only ours and the next one are alike as you can see, there are the only new (there was an empty area at the end of the row) but attached to a row with classic red brick houses. So, I guess we will try to focus on minor changes to give it more personality. Window box planters, maybe improving windows and door, and I like ED suggestion of creating a nice front garden.
