What style dining table and chairs?
Comments (9)First of all the Kitchen fit out looks beautiful, very sleek! I would certainly go down the route of New Nordic or contemporary. I can also thoroughly recommend getting a nice sized table that will work without the need for extensions. Having an extending table throws up the question of where do you keep the extra seats, or if they are fold up, where do I get good quality fold up chairs that are comfortable for guests? I would look at getting a pair of the radius benches from Habitat to go in the back corner, or look at getting a banquette made up. Benches mean you can squeeze in an extra guest or two! a small T12 table from Hay and a few of the Hiroshima chairs by Naoto Fukasawa I think these sleek but warms designs will complement the wood already in the room, but not fuddle the sleek look of the kitchen by adding lots of extra details....See MoreWhat style dining table & chairs?
Comments (8)If you have the bench built by a carpenter you should consider storage. You can have drawers (most expensive) openings for baskets (buy the baskets and build around it!) or top opening which would be good for things you don't need to get to very often. You could do a custom cushion to fit it or loose cushions, for the base cushion if you can't stretch to custom look at cushions for garden seating or Carolyn Donnelly in Dunnes (not sure if you have Dunnes) do rectangular flat cushions. Consider looking at a second hand website for a round table with pedestal and paint it if you don't like the finish. I find them for my clients all the time!! The one in the pic is IKEA I think and won't be very durable but a good stop gap option. You could also look at benches in IKEA and put together your own bench. It is worth the effort as you are sort of adding a sofa to the area and I am sure it will be one of your favourite bits of the house. Good luck with it!!...See MoreWhat dining table and chairs to choose?
Comments (7)Hi, I would suggest warming up the space using a wooden dinning table. It sounds like you have a minimalist looking kitchen, so a warm wood would look great against the clean lines, white and grey. You could also add white Eames chairs like the ones below to go with the white kitchen units. This one from Ikea is really nice, I've got the bench in the same wood and looks more expensive than it is: https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/tables/dining-tables/skogsta-dining-table-acacia-art-20378807/ Sklum do great Eames chairs and you can even customise the colours! https://www.sklum.com/uk/buy-dining-chairs/2909-ims-chair.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw6rXeBRD3ARIsAD9ni9BcRybmikCH9YLPGMLAJhMiysDW0jHig8JL_7YK95f_8eZG46KUUQoaAgauEALw_wcB Hope this helps Rukmini Patel Interiors...See MoreSuggestions on choosing dining table and chairs?
Comments (0)Some of my customers can't make the decision on buying a set of Dining Table and Upholstered Dining Chairs which are already matched by the furniture designer or matching the dining table and chairs by themselves to have their own styles. How do you think? For more choices, please click this video and you may find you loved one....See MoreHKay 27
