POLL - Demister Mirrors, Have you Heard of Them? Do you want one?
Comments (11)Yep, if you smear shaving cream over the mirror and then wipe it off again with a clean dry towel before you shower or bath, this will keep the glass fog free for at least a couple of weeks. Other things you can try are: - Toothpaste (smear a solution of toothpaste and water onto the glass and wipe off again) - Vaseline (smear it on the mirror then rub it off - requires a little more work but good results!) - Shampoo (smear a little shampoo and water on the mirror and wipe clean) Let us know how you get on!...See MoreWhat are your magic cleaning tips?
Comments (21)I usually look into my cooking cupboard to find the baking soda and white vinegar. For bathrooms, Viakal and cif are my good friends. Comments (32)Tiles are one way to introduce some pops of colour in your kitchen. If you are worried about the grout discolouring, use epoxy grout which is more resilient to liquid staining. Glass is less obvious when splashed. They are both more industrial and modern looking. What about using the same material that makes up your worktop as the splashback? Most manufacturers of manmade worktops also do an 11mm thick splashback and upstand....See MoreHouzz's Spring Clean Challenge!

Move in any time, as long as you don't mind selling a few bits of furniture while you're there :D You'll be pleased to hear we have started tackling the workshop and, two days of solid reorganisation later, I am exhausted but it's looking better. I'm sure with your skills it would have been done rather more efficiently/quickly but the rain hasn't helped - every time we moved things outside to give ourselves some space, it would start again and we'd be dragging it all back in! On the plus side it helped persuade me to part with some of the damper items ;)...See Morefnmroberts
