Does colder water from pool blend with and affect spa temperature?

We are designing a very similar pool but worry that the pool water will mix and make the water colder near the pool side of the spa. It appears the pool water level is lower. Is that correct? If so, what are the measurements from pool deck to pool and spa water levels?

    The Dam wall separates the water. There is no issue with spa being chilled by cooler pool water. The pool has automation to change heating to the pool or spa.
