What 'white' should I paint the walls?

I'm having a dilemma with choosing a shade of white to complement my windows.
The problem is that in certain lights the window frame colour looks quite peachy ( pine with a creamy maple colour stain...I choose it as I wanted to avoid the orange pine look...)

Eventually I intend to paint the open plan ground floor in a shade of white ( most rooms have light from different directions ( either east/west or north/south/west) so I'm completely confused!

What shade of white should I use?? I want something with a little warmth as I'm in Scotland!

Dulux Timeless is a nice soft off white. Farrow and Ball do some wonderful whites, see below. Stunning view by the way!!

I am really concerned about the wall colour bringing out the peachy tone in the window frame. Are there any shades I should avoid?

This look would be rather timeless and easy to re-use when wanting to change styles and colour schemes. Keeping a rather neutral palette, which is what you've gone for is a good idea for the kitchen as to not age so quickly. With the use of colourful accessories and well chosen lighting I think this space could look fab. If you hadn't already chosen your units and had them fitted, I'd have recommended a slightly darker shade to provide some contrast, and a slightly lighter island colour. However, I wouldn't recommend darker walls, purely as your space although being a good size and having some natural light. It's not flooded with it, so wouldn't want to makes the space darker than necessary. Hope this helps! Let me know. :) - Kerry @KerryBryanInteriors

Hi! I would use a Color Muse to measure the colour attributes of your flagged floor and then choose a colour, which relates to the hue family to which the flooring belongs. Then all you need decide, is whether you prefer the wall colour to be darker or lighter, but knowing that it will coordinate with the flagged floor.

Hi, what will be on the floor? Definitely get samples of the colours you like first, paint some large pieces of cardboard with it and look at them in the light of your actual kitchen. This is Purbeck Stone with Mole's Breath You could paint the walls Ammonite, Cornforth White or Wevet. I'd go for a light coloured Quartz worktop, but again, I would look at samples and hold them together with your chosen paint colours.

Avoid blues, whites with a blue tinge or anything too cool.
