Hi, love the lamps on the console. Where are they from please?

Hello,

Thank you for your interest in our Mill House project.

The Lamps on the Console are called Mayflower Table Lamp by OKA. The Shades are called Drum Shade Cotton also by OKA.

I have both including a stunning floor lamp that I wouldn't be without. It gives the whole room a soft glow from a dark corner and I have it on all day. The table lamps and lanterns, together with candles in the evening, make the room a wonderful space for relaxing. The lanterns by the fireside are surprisingly effective - a string of fairy lights wound around a silver birch log and placed inside a lantern. I've added moss, beads and some woodland creatures in one of them - quite magical! BTW I covered the lampshades too!

I wouldn't add artwork as the to is very much the focal point of the room and adding pics around it could look messy. Re the lamp - is it for reading/knitting etc in the chair or on the sofa? You could place it where you need it. If it's just for a bit of mood and uplighting then get one you like and try it in different places until you find somewhere that suits.

Not sure where the article was found,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,didn't it say where you could buy them? There's a shopping cart etc on the pic. You can buy the Tripod lamp all over.............ebay and wayfair sell them ebay tripod floor lamp You can search for 'Camden tripod floor lamp' or 'Mini Sun Tripod floor lamp' same thing. Can't find a white pleated drum lamp shade exactly the same as that one, but they can't be too hard to find. Here's one on Amazon pretty similar:- Amazon lampshade
