Need help for a splashback for my new kitchen
Comments (5)Hi Irina! That's a really lovely kitchen, I think perhaps using a natural material with variation will be an excellent finishing touch...have a look at our New York Brick tiles, we keep these in stock in West London can send a sample if you think these could work http://www.stoneandceramicwarehouse.co.uk/wall-tiles/floors/item/new-york-bricks...See Moreideas for kitchen wall and splashback?
Comments (12)Maybe others will have ideas but you seem a bit limited in what you can do or to me anyway assuming you chose the glass lid for safety. I'd paint the walls in a washable, moisture resistant paint (I might look at little Greene ). If you still want a splashblack of sorts you could just paint in a splashblack which could look quite effective or maybe use a metallic leaf or the microcement/polished plaster could work, I'm just not sure how thick it is but I believe it's extremely thin (I will see if I can find a pic if you like that idea). You could always add shelves over the sink...See MoreHelp with Kitchen splashback/Wall protection
Comments (18)Hi Amy, Have a look here, it is our splashback and other glassworks catalogues: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lNMo-zjO2Qm1domfNMNmhrBYxmX23d6x/view?usp=sharing We do all of the splashbacks by UV printing method, you might want to learn more about it before buying splashback because if you will be going for printed one, there are many cheap alternatives that i.e. require reprinting in few years. UV Printing lasts for 70+ years. Moreover, by UV you can also do the plain colour splashback that you initially decided for, but it is going to be slightly cheaper. Have a look on pricing here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/232760255417 Are you looking for some samples or real pictures? I can have a walk through our workshop with a camera as we have one (60x60cm) black splashback in stock waiting to be posted. #Edit: Toughened and Heat resistant is a must-have feature! Otherwise, it will not usually last for longer than few weeks, it is too easy to smash annealed glass (standard type)....See MoreKitchen splashback dilema
Comments (5)There are so many options for a splash back. Glass is one, or you could paint the wall with a kitchen paint to make it wipeable, or tiles. I love tiles and there has never been such a fabulous range of tiles available. I wouldn’t go too colourful, but gentle pastel shades or white would look lovely. Here’s a few ideas...See More- 7 years ago
