leave the TV wall mounted but bring it down a little and then you won't be ending up with neck ache and maybe put a shiny white cabinet to display some nice pieces. that's what I've done and it looks great.

We combine this "picture frame look" with the connection of an AppleTV to display high resolution paintings or photos on the screen when they're not using it as a TV. Mirror TV If you have the budget we offer a special TV mirror bonding service, which is much less expensive than dedicated "MirrorTVs". We bond a special swiss manufactured glass onto the face of the TV, which behaves like a mirror when the TV is turned off. There are two finishes - "antique mirror" which is quite dark when the TV is turned off, but offers an excellent low amount of reflectivity when the TV is turned on (see picture below). The alternative is our "modern mirror" glass which is almost the same as a real mirror, but relatively reflective, so requires the lighting in the room to be dimmed when viewing the TV. Thank you so much for your suggestions, Sonia! I hadn't even thought about the cables. I agree that a TV unit would best but I just don't know where it would be able to go. The photo below shows how the current owners have arranged the living room. I don't know if a TV unit would fit and look OK next to the fire where the chair is and even if it does go there I don't know where our sofa could go. I was hoping to have a corner sofa. I suppose we could think about getting a corner unit and having it the other side of the fire. I'm just not sure if the window would affect the TV.

Hi Beulah, It really depends on the rest of the room as well. Personally I wouldn't got with either white or black for the TV stand. The main reason is because if you use a black TV stand, it will diminish the beautiful marble coffee table impact on the space. If you use white, the contrast could be too strong and not complement the room unless the whole room is white besides the coffee table. The black marble coffee table would look great next to a hardwood TV stand, but again... that might not work with the rest of the room. I have included one of my 2D mood boards as an example of what I mean. The black coffee table in my photo is also marble and I believe it looks great next to a hardwood (in this case) sideboard.
