Before and after kitchen-looks smaller now but much more workable
Comments (24)You've got a great space to work with, Jessica! Creating a practical utility room is a great idea and very handy. Remember that natural stone is a great option for spaces you need to be durable, so do let us know if you have any questions about our products as we've found them to be a popular option for utility spaces. You can view the full range at www.nustone.co.uk - slate is a very popular option!...See MoreKitchen before and after
Comments (23)Looks lovely. Personally not careful enough for wooden worktops though! I also prefer to have significant depth of top on each side of the cooker for safe landing of full saucepans....See MoreThank you! Here's some Before / After photos of the finished kitchen
Comments (43)Hi Morsenet - in that case I would highly recommend Karen from OnePlan. I was in the exact same position as you, had tried what I thought was every version possible but deep down I wasn’t happy. Spending the money (small amount in context) with Karen made me and my partner confident and happy with the design. She respected what we’d done already and gave us a fresh perspective combined with her years of knowledge, it was a easy process. I’d already massively overspent on the budget by this point so spending additional money was a hard pill to swallow but actually it was invaluable and saved us money down the line from mistakes we would have made (or worse ripping this kitchen out and doing it again!)....See MoreKitchen renovation, before, during and hopefully after
Comments (24)I stripped it myself, the electritian made holes in it, plasterer plastered it and I painted it :) It needed plastered anyway as even with wallpaper on it you could see the joins between the boards as they had just been screwed up with no tape or skim and then just papered over. Dining room looks the same, will be tackling that later in the year....See Morebac717
