Morning! Thanks @ MATM I think both bath and shower are definitely too cramped. Would the quadrant shower work better in that corner though than a square one? And will give enough space to walk in and around? Otherwise we have a 1200 long shower we can re-use so was thinking of putting that on the left wall with maybe the wc at the end or just storage space and having the wc on the right and sink on the back wall. I'm also working on an alternative room plan to try and make the room bigger so will come back and post the sizes of it works (just waiting on confirmation from a specialist today!)

Hi Sarah, As you can see a square shower tray is going to work to much better than a rectangle shower tray. It is going to allow you much more space and open up the room. I would suggest keeping the base of the room light (tiles and paint), and then go ahead and incorporate darker shades. On the wall, where the sink sits, add a large mirror to enhance the space in the room, this is a simple and easy way to trick the eye into thinking a room is bigger than it is. A wall hung toilet and skin cabinet is going to increase the floor space of the room. From a decorative side of things I would recommend black framed glass around the shower, this is a substile dark colour introduction without over doing it, and the glass will still keep the room open. I will post some images below of what I think could work. If you need anymore help please do let me know.

I want to removate my tiny family bathroom. I appreciate if you can give some advice. I love minimal look. I want a bright and spacious look bathroom but cannot compromise with bath and separte walk-in shower, wall hung toilet and wall hung basin, full tile and lots of storage. Any idea would be appreciated. I want to move the door outwards but then it bocks the window of the landing - any suggestions? What size walk-in shower should I have and what size bath should I have, and where they should locate? (soil stack is (approx 30*35cm) will be reduced but not sure how much can be reduced)

What an amazing bathroom! I'd suggest using a 90cm wide shower (and perhaps 90 deep and/or quadrant/corner, because of wet feet when stepping out in front of doorway), as there's 10cm on the side for the toilet drain (and some hacking into the chimney plaster to get to 110mm pipe +surround*). Then 80cm width for the toilet. Which leaves 100cm for a vanity. *) and if you can find some of these architraves+alike, you could widen the chimney breast so the 10cm won't look lost. The positive with a faux low wall (for toilet cistern) behind the vanity, is that any dresser can be turned into vanity without losing too much drawer space, as the drain+gooseneck can go behind instead of through. And a cabinet over the bath would not be ideal, just use the vanity drawers and for the smaller things hang some sleek looking mirrored medicine cabinets. Perhaps a towel rack above the bench. Or replace the bench for a storage bench or chest.
