Open shelves may look really well with a strip light??

If you don't want open shelves, don't have open shelves. It's your kitchen.

And I'd say color 1 for under counter units, color 2 for tall ones.

Also check the oven height in real life, for you don't want hot elbows when getting the tray out.

You might also want to flip fridge and freezer.

Thanks all. The colour roundthe corner is a good idea. Wine rack is a no no . !possibly some base shelving or vertical rack ..with alight colour and dark colour combo may tie it all up but a bit contrived .or justa light colour door. .And then I would maybe have dark short wall cupboards instead of shelves to span between wall and tall units..thinking the grey stoneworktop will bring it all together ..

Any reason to flip fridge and freezer? Freezer is noisier and used less so at back of room

Work triangle and drop off. Fridge-sink-rinse-chop. And glass-fridge-pour.

If you want the freezer to stay, at least move the fridge next to the ovens.

That’s the dining area . And remains so.. all utilities are on right side wall with windows .doors to garden from dining and back of kitchen ..one reason we are doing this is to get more light in.. and therefore the window wall run of units is all low level except for full height cupboards at the far end next to sink .
There’s another low run of units on opposite wall

The layout could be more fun and have better flow. I know, you were only asking for color and cupboard suggestions..

Is there a reason you've kept everything against the walls? How big is your household? Do you have guests often? Can pipework be moved? Is it a new extension?

Is the main reason your removing the wall because of the kitchen light? Or storage? Or garden views?
