Hi Helen, this is a fabric from Timorous Beasties that has been stretched over a canvas frame and then framed as a piece of art. Completely bespoke and unique for my client. It also hides a foam that absorbs noise at the same time. I hope this helps.

What about displaying a mixture of quirky, fun or heirloom plates? Maybe from holidays destinations, or made by your children at the local ceramic workshop, or just found in the charity shops? I saw a few pictures lately, and thought it was such a fun alternative way to art in a kitchen! They can also bring in fresh & crazy colours which you wouldn’t dare using otherwise on a bigger scale!

Love the idea of foam to absorb noise! I struggle with the acoustics in our kitchen extension. What sort of foam is behind the material to absorb sound? Is it regular foam padding or a specific noise absorbing foam?
