I would like to install new stairs but like the way the stairs and hallway blend. I would be interested in having something similar

It's a tricky one on a budget. You need to be careful what you do, as painting the beams and just the front door are going to affect the look of the windows. Always make sure that the colour you pick is going to go well with your red brick. You could think about doing the outside in stages as and when you could afford to do so, as there are many things you could do eventually. Start by painting the Front door and two long windows either side of it to broaden the look of the entrance and do the garage door too. This will immediately change the look and make it more modern. The sagey green will go well with your brick at this point, and the greys won't look odd. Eventually for future plans, it is possible to have the mock beams removed in most instances, and you can hang tiles in that area to re-waterproof it. Then you can render the whole of the rest of the house and have it whatever colour you like. The clay tiles to hang in place of the mock tudor beams also come in a few colours including grey! All of the above is fabulous, but probably very expensive. So, I came up with an amendment for a high sleeper. I took this High sleeper bed available from Wayfair I took the top layer off and moved it down. I was worried that if you put a desk at that level, then you need something around the sides high enough, so that if you move the chair backwards, you aren't going to fall off. If you put the desk at one end, then you can use the whole length for moving up and down. So this is what i had in mind. The blue bit marks where i placed thick ply wood across the slats for extra support. ( A big thank you to my 6 year old grandson Freddie who came up with the idea to start with, well done Fred )

We don't have pets (sadly) or children (not so sadly) but still wanted a floor that would work for kitchen/lounge/dining space and underfloor heating. We wanted the wood look which isn't very effective with UFH, so went for a lovely Porcelanosa wood effect porcelain tile throughout out open plan space and into the utility and downstairs shower room. We love it and have had no problems with tile breakages. Because the tiles have varying wood-style patterns, they've fooled many people into thinking they're wood at first. Photos show when we first had them fitted. They do other colours if you want a different 'wood' finish:

I love what you've done. The delicate pink and the bold pops of yellow and the artwork and rug are lovely touches of colour. Are these your suggestions or are they actually there? Maybe you could introduce lighting that can change colour. So then the client can vary the colours to suit her mood when she wants. A small collection of colourful cushion covers, rugs and art pieces could also be tucked away in some storage units and used to change things up as well depending on the season or the way she wants the house to feel. Or maybe a couple of vases in certain places where she can place seasonal flowers, or foliage so the house can have some colour that changes to reflect the season in a more natural way.
