What would you do with this awkward utility space?

We've recently had a loft conversion so do not need our downstairs shower, but would like to keep the toilet. I would like to create a door to the garden on the wall that the washing machine is currently against. This room is a single storey extension leading off of the kitchen.
What would you do? Move part of the stud wall and move the washing machine to where the shower is now? I'd like to keep costs down so can't do anything too elaborate.
Would love to hear thoughts on this narrow awkward space. As you can see from the photos it is just a dumping ground and a mess at the moment!
