HI I need a driveway gate, preferably wooden to keep our new puppy in.
Comments (3)Hi Jan You may be interested to know you can now get aluminium driveway gates in Wood effect finish. We offer a Golden Oak finish on all our gates, driveway & pedestrian. You may consider a mixed infill gate, so your little pup can't wander off but still having the property open. Best of luck with your project and your new puppy! Comments (15)Think they're coming back a bit now anyway! I would just want a bigger space for the kitchen than in option 3, which opening it up would give you. Apart from that (and having to carry all the plates from kitchen to dining room and back!) I really like it...See MoreLayout Advice/Opinions please
Comments (31)So, he has come back with his ideas which bring nothing to the party as still just has the sunroom added on to the middle of the back of the house. I did however, remember that he had sent us another house type along time ago which we had ruled out then. ive attached his original sketches and then my very very basic and rough ideas of ehat we could do. Have added the bay window to the smaller reception room as its the exact same size as pur current living room (same builder) and gives it a tiny bit more space than just the normal flat windows....See MoreAdvice please- turning the back of our house into the front
Comments (13)Morning! What a great house! Older properties were often added to over time, and sometimes the most beautiful entrance wasn't at the front, as the more attractive aspect was through a manicured garden...equally you would have the day to day access (which we tend to use more these days), and the fancy imposing entrance reserved for special occasions....confusing! In short, I think you should design it to be sympathetic to the architecture and history, but to suit your needs. We use multiple cars and park outside our front doors because carry our own shopping, the Victorians didn't! I think you need to consider the elevations as much as the internal plans, and develop a design in 3D to really understand the benefits you get from various options. I would be delighted to help if you want some professional expertise from both an Architectural and Interior Design perspective. Would you like a half hour initial interior design consultation for some friendly one-to-one advice? We have a couple of slots each week for £125+vat. The consultation includes a friendly video chat to talk through your space and discuss your project ideas and needs. I follow up the video call with digital moodboards for a room or specific aspect like your exterior view tailored to your budget, plus a layout suggestion. I also give you a call to catch up! All the best, Christine...See Moresandrasal
