What would I do?... Pick the green tile!

Haha! It’s quite a small room so I’m avoiding too dark. I’d probably get fed up of it after 5 years and this bathroom is costing £12k!

I’m really not into dark either. We will however be painting the walls which gives us options.

I prefer this colour...bright and airy!

I’d probably stick to the wall tile if you’re keen to make it feel larger. I wouldn’t use 3 different stone effect tiles but you could introduce a pattern or a shaped tile instead. If you’re using a duck egg with pale grey I’d use some wood, brass, plants etc to warm it up

We agree with arc3d! Green one is really nice! However as that one is out, we would suggest the grey one everywhere in 600x600 version

Minnie we are only using two different tiles...the white and the grey. We have chrome fittings but are having oak shelving and oak vanity.

Go for it! white on the walls, grey on the floor and in the shower. It'll add interest and it's not too dark.

Hi Lindsay, we are big fans of bathrooms supporting our well being. They should be spaces that offer you reset and recharge. Have you every been to the wellness or a good luxury spa with the white tiles? Natural stone effect grey tile that is on your picture has a really nice pattern and is soothing. That is why you are intuitively considering using it in the shower. It is about feel good factor. Our lives are busy and we are over stimulated. White will not calm you down, darker, natural tones will. On your bright and airy picture it is the gold finish on the picture frame and the pendant that warms it up. Without those two it would feel very different. Bright and airy is not always what you need after stressful day.

I have a small shower room and used the same tile on the floor as on the walls - it really pulls it together and oddly makes it look bigger - I prefer the marbled one :)

I have been to luxury spas and I notice they do use soothing colours and textures. However i dislike dark colours. We are using wood to create a more natural environment and with more soothing greens which I believe are suitable for East facing. Sounds like we should go for the grey tiles...although I’ve had a full grey bathroom before and it felt quite dull.

Grey on floor and one wall only (not knowing the layout I'd say pick the back one as you walk in, but one shower wall makes more sense) and all else white, solid matte white (non cloudy).

Yes the shower is on the left in the Corner as you come in, and bath straight ahead under window. This is the current floor plan. Shower will be wear toilet currently is.
