modern bathroom tiles

Our bathroom 1.5x3.00m includes walk-in shower, loo, and a double sink with vanity cupboard. Would you recommend to keep one colour for all the walls and floor or would it look better to use two different colours? There are so many great design photos online but it’s hard to visualise what would look best in the small space. We are looking at 60x60 tiles for clean look and prefer a timeless design rather than a temporary trend.

I think that it can work really well if the tiles are the same, but perhaps it does then need some sort of contrast to break things up. This could be a darker window, a wooden vanity unit etc. You could keep the colour palette the same but introduce texture, as in the fourth image below. I love the colours of the bathrooms below, they are light and warm and timeless.

I'd consider a modern Edwardian style. this would appeal to a larger market if/when you decide to sell. Definitely consider free standing bath as you should be able to fit one in, on an angle would work if your space works. here's some ideas....
