thank you for your comments- Thos.Baker the pictures you posted look great but its just not my cup of tea:) AsvInterierors- i like the idea of wallpapering where i can use paint on the areas of highest usage. Will it help if i say that the wallpapers i was looking at are quite expensive and good quality, would that help with potential damage risk?

Seems they were sold by American company Pottery Barn. I don't know the exact paper but search for faux grasscloth, here's one.
