I'd have kitchen area near utility and dining area near kitchen. So living area would be in narrowest part.

I would put a TV on one side of the chimney breast shared with the dining room with sofa floating opposite. Then I would put the dining area beside a door to the garden and the kitchen at the bottom of the room on the diagram.

I can see the dilemma.….a kitchen tucked away to the left but a distance from the utility/wc or entering through the kitchen to get to the leisure areas.

What direction do the patio doors face? considerations might be a south facing kitchen too warm for cooking perhaps….the central wall between the two patio doors an allseeing/no glare TV position.….the chimney backing the dining room a place for Aga/Hob/two way fireplace….

My first thought was kitchen then dining room ….and sitting room to the left…a false cabinet/ ‘secret‘ door to the utility/wc a TV on the centre wall…..more details would help…

I’d be tempted to keep the kitchen to right, in close proximity to the utility. The chimney breast can serve as a feature to be incorporated into the kitchen. See the attached picture below, ignore the aesthetic - whether its contemporary modern or traditional, that will be your personal choice - its just to give you some inspiration.

Then i would have a kitchen island running parrallel to the utility wall, which will house the sink, dishwasher etc accessed on the utlility wall side. Then on the other side incorporate a raised breakfast bar.

On the right hand side of the room you’ve got room for some relaxed seating, coffee table etc for your morning caffeine hit 😃
