Love it all, especially the paint and tiles

What kind of paint is used here? It looks textured but I can't seem to find a textured suede-like paint that is suitable in a bathroom. Any advice/ideas?

Hi Ginaedel, this is the Bauwerk limewash paint used in here. We have used extremely good extraction and well insulated walls to give the paint the enough air to breath however, it is recommended to seal the paint if you will be using it in a bathroom.

We love colour! Our Lamb's House Pavilion project was a new-build house, in the traditional Georgian style. We vote tiles! If it was my kitchen (and mostly because I'm a messy cook) I would be inclined to tile (or glass backsplash) anywhere that might need to be wiped down-e.g. behind cooker, along any counters where I might be doing any food prep. This gives you plenty of options-you could tile behind cooker and counters in metro/subway tiles, but be careful as it could look busy with the granite and wood grain of kitchen-it will depend on the grout. Alternatively, you could use big clean glossy tiles like this marble look above.

Minnie101 I can't leave a whole bathroom in the hall unfortunately, there's too much stuff and not enough space, if I could, there wouldn't be a problem. Travertine tiles are about 24 inches long, 12 inches wide and 1/2 inch thick. They are solid rock. The whole room is to be tiled. Together they will weigh over a ton. I'm getting on a bit, so it would be very difficult to heave one of them, let alone a bunch at a time, I wish :-). I have a garage, but it's chokka. Everybody only delivers to the front door since Covid. I hate to sound so negative, but this has been on my mind for a long time, and it's really getting me down. Thank you very much for your reply, Love your username btw. Daisy England That's a good idea about Facebook, although It's going to be pretty nigh impossible to have someone available exactly when things are being delivered or am I missing something? Lockdown burnout :-)

Paint colour to go with bathroom beige tiles?

I agree with Colourhappy, a wood tone bath panel would add some interest. Then as you have so much light from that window a large potted plant should grow perfectly in the space below. Maybe add some patterned towels and that might be all that's needed.
