Side Return Help!

Hi,

We are thinking about a side return extension on our Victorian house and cant seem to quite figure out the best approach to maximise light/space/budget.

We were thinking about a Critall glass door from the "family room" which is currently used as an office but is very dark, and extending out the "Dining Area" to give more space. Not sure if we would then carry the extension all the way down the side of the kitchen and then knock it though, or maybe even create some sort of a utility behind the current kitchen.

We would love to have bifold’s across the back of the house but It doesn’t seem possible with the current garden room which is basically a wood framed conservatory, ideally we could incorporate it all onto one space but the conservatory is not very well insulated so I think it would need replacing which will probably extend over our budget.

Access is to the right so we do not really use any of the space from the end of the garden room all the way down the side return (we have a large garden also).

We would love to hear some creative ideas and very much appreciate it. I should mention the kitchen is a previous extension so we would be adding further.
