Hi. What's the style of the room? Cole and son picture a lot of their papers with old master style portraits which would work. I've also attached a link to ibride trays which I've seen used as wall art a few times. You could also look at prints of old maps, architectural prints etc. An industrial style window mirror could also work. Hi - not sure if this would be your sort of thing or whether it would match 'mood' in rest of kitchen but you could consider painting that whole wall behind the fridge and up to the edge of the dado rail with blackboard paint. We have this behind our bin and it's very useful for making a note of what you've just run out of and hiding splashes from the bin. It would look quite dramatic and be very distinct end to the kitchen. Not sure if that's what you want? To do ours we actually just used a sticky back roll of blackboard paper. It's been great and hasn't marked the wall so you could try it out as an experiment before committing to paint! Good luck.

You have extremely hard geometry in the slate color vertical walls and again in the black and red rectangles in the rug. And then the vertical lime-green curtains. It's all a bit of a hard clash. The beautiful bunch of flowers doesn't stand chance against all the hard geometry and coloring. Replace the rug with a larger neutral rug, a hemp rug would be beautiful and is relatively affordable. While you don't have a coffee table move that little round side table closer to the side of a sofa, put the flowers on it. By the time you've made these changes you may find a direction emerge for you.

Since it is an east facing room I doubt the oval blue will be too dark but maybe try a paint swatch on the wall to see what it looks like in the light. With the wall paper if you make sure it links one colour from the main room e.g the blue paint it won’t look too chaotic.
