Need help with open plan kitchen design
Comments (48)I love your kitchen layout. I'm currently have an extension built for a new open plan kitchen/family room so have found your posts most useful. I too will be having my hob on the island and I think it looks best in the centre. My sink will also be directly behind the hob, but there's plenty of room so I think it will work well. Good luck with it. Please post pictures of the end result....See MorePOLL: Do you buy your pets Christmas presents?

Comments (21)I actually like this layout. I’m not sure of the practicality of having a hob in the island, food splatters etc... I thought about it then decided against it. We’ve paid about £4.5k for the kitchen, that’s excluding most of the appliances, but did include a built in dishwasher and the sink and taps. Also I need to buy the worktops elsewhere as Homebase don’t do 4m runs and I didn’t want joins... are you living in your place at the mo?...See MoreKitchen design help open plan or not?
