Comments (8)Great Anita. It's a bold colour choice :) looks like it's going to be a very contemporary space so I would keep everything light and fresh. You could consider working with an interior designer for your space. It would help to look at the layout and lighting which are tricky to get right. It sounds like you have majority of the elements sorted so it's only a few little bits that it would be great to get right and working for you and the space....See MorePOLL: Pillows - one, two or more?
Comments (5)As a teenager and for many years after that, I used to sleep without a pillow and I slept mostly (but not exclusively) on my stomach. Now I need support under my head, no matter whether I'm on my side or back - though I no longer sleep on my stomach - and I suspect it's because ... I'm fatter. I'm not suggesting that others responding who sleep with one or more pillows are fat but that's what I suspect is why I now need a pillow....See Morecurtains and throw pillows

Are you just looking for a quick refresh, or do you have longer term plans for your living room? If it’s a quick refresh with curtains, cushions and paint, then perhaps some of the photos below will inspire you both. If you’re looking at longer-term plans for the room, take some time to think about how you both will use the room. It looks from your photo that there’s a desk chair?? Zoning the room can be a useful way to set out how the room will be used. This will help you to think not only about the decorative scheme, but also the furniture and storage that you both need. Hope this helps. Enjoy your new home!...See MoreHelp for fading a too vivid rug plus throw pillows dilemma
Comments (6)Hi Sue, thank you so much for the idea of darkening the rug with tea, it’ s made of cotton so it should work ! I do appreciate your point of view about the kilim being too big for the sofa , I just needed this ! Actually they are too big even as floor cushions ... Never mind, they have been flattened in the closet for years and they’ll go back there. Can I ask you how many pillows should i use on 5 place sectional sofa ? 2 or 3 per corners? i will have to study how to combine boho pillows ... because it’s easy to choose a couple of them but choosing nine different matching pillows it‘s a kind of rebus for me expecially because i don’t like matchy-matchy but I don’t like confusion either ....thank you again , you have been very helpful! Good night 💫!...See MoreMichelle Hinckley
