Small bathroom, Wall to wall tiles or partially painted?
Comments (3)If the space is small then I think you should keep to one type of tile for the floors and walls. If you don’t tile one wall make sure you tile up that wall a skirting board height (tricks your eye into thinking the floor is bigger). Don’t worry about tiling behind the wc, you can access the workings of the cistern through the removable flush plate- I had to completely replace the flushing mechanism in one of mine and it was only a 10 minute job despite feeling like it was keyhole surgery! The wall was damp when painted. i had a similar problem in my bathroom so I bought Peel Stop and prepared the wall by peeling as much paint off as possible, sanding it down and then I painted 3 coats of Peel Stop before painting. I also had a decent extractor fan fitted. it was not a good job to do but I eventually solved the problem, and I don’t have a window in my bathroom either....See MoreAnn B
