Robert Maxwell has been appointed to design the interior of a Grade I listed apartment in Belgravia, West London. The property (1834) once a former hospital was converted into 8 separate apartments at the turn of the century. Since this conversion the apartment has only had some minor work done to it and so remains in almost original condition. The brief is to bring the apartment back to life, creating a large one bedroom home with viewing gallery for a private art collection. The works to be carried out must be sensitive to the original features whilst updating the property to 21st century living standards.
