Chaucer Road
A full renovation transformed this three-storey Victorian end of terrace house in Herne Hill. The project saw period features restored and included a new bathroom and full refurbishment of the bedrooms and living areas. A bespoke open hardwood staircase connects with an open plan kitchen and dining and guest suite on the bottom floor. A small but crisp rear extension converted a utility room into a guest bedroom with en suite bathroom.
Enabling uninterrupted views through to the garden is a seamless wrap-over window seemingly cut out from the wall and ceiling. The dual aspect glazing harnesses maximum daylight for this north-west facing rear elevation. A fully landscaped back garden leads to a secluded timber-clad seating area right at the rear of the property.
