This bench was built for a family in Amherst, Massachusetts who was looking to take an underutilized space along a wall in their kitchen and gain more storage. The space had a kids table that was now ignored by the young people in the house. It was time for that corner of their kitchen to move into adulthood. The bench is constructed of cherry and cherry plywood and finished with a wipe-on varnish.
