A grand extension of a country house, where we were engaged prior to construction to ensure careful planning and coordination of the various spaces. Alongside trusted suppliers we considered the lighting and electrical design to highlight the central ceiling cove to the ground floor and enlisted a stone mason to create the elegant curved Moleanos limestone staircase leading up to the vaulted first floor. The extension included a smart garden room with double French doors opening out to the courtyard garden creating part of the Biophilic aesthetic. A tailor made jewellery/gun room and a temperature controlled store room for boxed wines is included at this level whilst the first floor has a tailor made party and games room with bar area. We were involved with the interior architecture, detailing and specifying of all the bespoke cabinetry found in these spaces.
