Our brief was to extend and transform the original terrace to create a multi-functional space where our client could dine as well as relax. Hardwood decking and porcelain paving on pedestals were installed along with an external waterproof sofa to create a sleek seating area. External heating, a solid umbrella with integrated lighting and built-in lighting to the steps were added to make the space usable all-year-round. Solid pots in complimentary colours were used to match the décor and give a smart, contemporary feel to the space. We also worked with an established garden designer to install flowerbeds and other landscaping. All building regulations were followed and complied with.
