One of the most important aspects of a garden design are the elements which create the design. Each & every detail, material, pattern, colour, plant, shape, texture ....... offer something to the space. I see gardens however small or large as a `composition`. Each whole composition is made up of `mini-compositions`. Often these compositions will evolve over the years, move into maturity & be refined within this process.
