Dunstall Close, Webheath, Redditch

A complete garden renovation, featuring a concept of interlocking, concentric circles in a rustic but modern style, which extended the usable space not only to 24/7 but through all four seasons.
The key element of this sloping garden was a curving wall of vertical sleepers, with a central, crescent shaped dining bench and demountable table, with two concentric, spiralling staircases either side. An upper deck featured at the top of the garden with an Indian sandstone patio and rustic bar with copper firebowl at the lower end. Uplighting concealed in the Moonstone borders and down lighting from the dining bench, together with Fishermans' Lanterns on the bar illuminated the whole 64sqm area with a moody light.
The ambience of the new garden experience was highlighted by a dual water feature, featuring 3 million year old Snowdonia stone, which flowed above the retaining wall either side of the crescent, through 3 bamboo spouts and stone and gravel landscaping, into a concealed reservoir to be recycled.
