This entrance hall and boot room design was created for a busy family home seeking a clean, organised and highly functional space with maximum storage capacity.
The client needed a practical entrance storage solution to manage everyday family items including shoes, coats, hats, scarves and gloves, while maintaining a tidy and visually calm environment.
To achieve this, we designed a fully customised built-in storage system with bespoke joinery, carefully planned to maximise every available space.
The tall cabinetry includes a concealed coat rail in the upper section, a central drawer for smaller accessories such as hats and gloves, and three deep pull-out shoe storage shelves at the base. This creates a highly efficient and easy-to-use boot room storage layout for daily family routines.
Open shelving was introduced to store everyday shoes, doubling as a convenient bench seating area. This enhances usability while maintaining a light and balanced aesthetic.
To add warmth and visual interest, we incorporated decorative baskets in selected areas instead of enclosing every section with doors, softening the overall design while maintaining flexibility and accessibility.
The result is a modern entrance hall and boot room design that combines functionality, organisation and contemporary aesthetics, delivering a highly practical storage solution tailored to family living.
