This fabulous house went through a meticulous renovation, and our client was keen to create a formal new entrance leading directly from the drive into the open plan living room/ kitchen. We designed this portico with four full Doric columns, two half doric columns and exquisite dentil work. A slightly open-textured natural sandstone was chosen, and we made both the portico and the balustrades in the same stone to tie them in together and lead the visitor to the door. This was a fantastic project and one which we are extremely proud of. The portico and balustrading are all hand-carved from natural sandstone and were assembled with a team of 4 within 2 weeks!
