Cayford Design was engaged to redesign and rebuild a new residential construction that had got into difficulties. There are 11 flats, all different, constructed above a restaurant.

Each flat has good external space and there are larger communal external spaces with amazing views over the City of London. The flats are for private rent so had to be highly energy efficient, comfortable and robust, whilst being homely. Roof mounted air source heat pumps and PV panels are the main energy sources.

On behalf of the client we assembled the consultant team, engaged the contractor, and acted as contract administrator throughout the project.
