This small flat belongs to a lady and it served as a second home for an extended period of time. She wanted to give it a facelift as she decided to move in permanently.

She wanted to keep some of the old furniture, but the place needed painting and brand new decoration. I suggested an industrial look in line with the view from her balcony and bedroom with yellow accents and multiple layers of lightning. As she was happy with the visuals and moodboards provided, we went ahead.

She was more than pleased with the result. As she's a world traveller I incorporated her collectables into the new design, giving it an eclectic touch. As you walk through the hallway there's a little bit of inspiration from Africa, India and the far East, which is continued in the bedroom. We added two signature posters to the walls that represent two of her passions - guns & manga. These posters are experimental for the time being, hence they were placed unframed with a solution not to mark the freshly painted walls.

Some clients need to live with artwork before they can make a final decision about whether they want it or not. This is perfectly understandable and I support this throughout my design process.
