For this project we took a traditional shaker-style approach, but formulated our own unique ‘Darwin/Edwardian’ door style. Muted greys and statement blues on the units were subtly complemented by walnut, which added extra depth and texture. Pretty floral, suede and velvet fabrics gave a gentle finishing touch to the final aesthetic. Space limitations meant it was a challenge to position an island and dining table, so we decided to merge the two together, creating an integrated banquette seating area as part of the central island.
