We converted and extended an 18th century grade II listed barn into a contemporary three bedroom house with an attached holiday home built for a retiring couple. We proposed a timber clad extension that dovetails with the existing barn, whilst sensitively restoring the existing buildings using traditional materials and techniques, blending the vernacular and the traditional. Giving a new life to a once forgotten barn and rejuvenating this small piece of Lincolnshire.
