I drew up a design using differing evergreen plants with a real mix of unusual leaf textures and colours to create this low maintenance outdoor room which led out from the kitchen.

I 'borrowed from the landscape' as the very large palm you can see in the back is actually in the neighbours garden! I was back at the garden recently (our annual visit) and it still looks fantastic!
