Saving An Historic Log Cabin Home
This log cabin was originally owned by Mary Hoover who was the daughter of the founder of the Hoover Vacuum Company. This cabin is made up of two cribs and was in total decay. We had to raise the building up and build a new foundation for it to rest on. The cabin was disassembled and completely rebuilt. The challenge was to keep the original look but have all the modern mechanicals and comforts of modern day including a complex fiber network for communications. The cabin is now used as a museum and event center.
